Kick Dialog

The KICK Dialog enables you to remove a person from a channel . The dialog emulates the use of /KICK command ( see IRC Commands . ) Use of it requires that you are an operator ( host | owner ) to the channel ( unless the server has in some way enabled you to perform such actions )

You may want to enter a kick reason if kicking a user . Your favorite kick reasons can be changed through Preferences .

If you select "also ban" , TurboIRC will also ban the user . The method shown is matching the method you used in Preferences , but you may change it . Check IRC Commands to check the use of MODE +b command .

If you select "also set access" , TurboIRC will set also an access deny to the user . This works only while you are in an IRCX server . Check Access Dialog and the IRCX draft for more about ACCESS .

The server will decide if the user will be kicked upon some situations , for example , the server might not allow you to kick an IRCop .
